How to Make a Book Cover or Holder with One Sheet of 12x12" Paper
This design can be used as either a book cover or a book holder by simply gluing the cover to create a side pocket or top pocket. If you prefer a more traditional binding, watch the video for tips on strengthening the back cover by adding pockets or a flip. Materials
- One sheet of 12×12″ scrapbook paper (medium weight or heavier). Double-sided, non-directional paper is preferred.
- Scoreboard or scoring tool
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions

Scoring the Paper:
- Score your 12×12″ paper at 6″.
- Make a quarter turn and score again at 6″.
- This will create four equal squares on your paper.

Cutting and Folding:
- Starting from the left, cut to the center scoreline.
- Fold and glue as shown in the video.

- For a book holder, glue the pockets as suggested or tuck your booklet into the front pocket.
