How to Make a Loaded Pocket 12x12's #14.

Loaded Pocket

These versatile pockets can be filled with goodies of your choice. Made with 12×12″ double-sided scrapbook paper, shown in two sizes. The largest pocket is perfect for gift giving, while the smaller one is ideal as a journal insert. The two front pockets feature either notches or a corner fold, and the top center pocket is roomy and deep to hold an item of your choice. This super-fast paper craft is perfect for Christmas gift giving!

Materials

What you’ll need:

  • 12×12″ scrapbook paper (double-sided, non-directional is best)
  • Scoreboard or scoring tool
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Small Version

  1. Begin by cutting your 12×12″ paper to a 10″ square.
  2. Score each side at 2 3/4″.
  3. Make a quarter turn to the right and score at 3 1/4″.
  4. Fold, burnish, and glue as shown in the video tutorial.

Large Version

  1. Score each side at 3 1/4″.
  2. Make a quarter turn to the right and score at 3 3/4″.
  3. Repeat the remaining steps as shown for the smaller version.
