Masterboard Page Tabs - Scrapbuster
Masterboards are a fantastic way to repurpose scrap paper and embellishments. These quick-to-make page tabs utilize masterboards as a foundational layer, offering enough visual interest to stand alone or be saved for future projects. They can be further enhanced with additional embellishments according to your preference.
Materials Needed:
- Book pages as a base
- Various paper scraps with diverse elements
- Glue
- Scissors or a paper trimmer
- Optional: 3-corner decorative punches (or create tag corners manually)
Start with your book page, adhering strips or pieces of paper on top while allowing some of the book page to show through. Add extra details like labels, stamps, ephemera, or any other motifs you like. Trim your book pages to 2 1/2" or 3", fold them in the center, and then create tag corners or use a 3-corner decorative punch. You can find more tips in the video tutorial.
This is an enjoyable way to utilize masterboards or leftover scraps, creating tabs that perfectly match your journal project. Use them to edge pages, decorate cards, or as pull tabs on tags.
Happy paper crafting!
