Travel Folio
This quick travel folio is ideal for storing your summer vacation photos and memorabilia or for getting organized ahead of your fall travels. With its wider, comfortable size, center pocket, and two flaps, it offers plenty of flexibility to personalize. Add extra pockets, tucks, or even more flips to make this folio truly yours. You can also create a small booklet to fit inside the center pocket for jotting down your favorite memories and decorating it as you like.
Materials You’ll Need:
- One 12×12" scrapbook paper (non-directional works best)
- Scoreboard or scoring tool
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
- Start by scoring your paper horizontally at 6". Then turn the paper and score vertically at 4" and 8½".
- Cut along the horizontal 6" score line from the right edge to the 4" vertical score.
- Fold, burnish, and glue as demonstrated in the video. To keep your folio properly aligned, make sure your fold remains at the top when gluing the pocket.
Customization Tips:
Design the cover flaps however you like—create pockets, folder-style tucks, or add additional flips to one or both flaps. The folio folds flat, and to ensure your photos fit in the center pocket, consider taping the bottom edge rather than gluing it.
Feel free to embellish the flaps with fussy cuts, die cuts, or add more pockets in different areas. This folio is the perfect size for travel and can easily be customized to fit your needs.
Happy paper crafting!
